Assam & Meghalaya Tour

Your Assam Meghalaya trip begins as you arrive at the Guwahati Airport or station. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted warmly by our representative, who will then take you to your pre-booked hotel in Assam. After settling in and recovering from your journey, you'll embark on a pilgrimage tour to visit the Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, and Balaji Temple. After a day of exploration, you'll return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast, then check out of the hotel to begin your journey to the beautiful hill station of Shillong in Meghalaya. The 99 km drive will take approximately 3-4 hours. Along the way, you'll stop at the gorgeous Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani, which is the largest artificial lake in Meghalaya, surrounded by the picturesque Sylvan Hills. Upon arrival in Shillong, you'll check into your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the nearby area or simply relax in your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided at the hotel.

After enjoying a delectable breakfast, prepare for an excursion to Cherrapunji, known as the second wettest place on earth. The drive from Shillong to Cherrapunji will take around 2-3 hours. Along the way, you'll visit the stunning Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park. After a day of sightseeing in Cherrapunji, you'll head back to Shillong, with stops at the spectacular Elephant Falls and the famous Shillong Peak, where you can capture breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival in Shillong, you'll return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin the day with a nutritious breakfast before setting out on a busy and productive day of exploration. First, you'll drive 78 km to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, located in the East Khasi Hills. Mawlynnong is renowned for its beauty and is a popular ecotourism destination in Meghalaya. Your next stop will be Dawki, a hidden gem in the West Jaintia Hills, known for its stunning natural beauty, including the pristine Umngot River. After exploring Dawki, you'll return to Shillong, with an opportunity to visit the impressive Root Bridge on the way. Upon arrival in Shillong, you'll return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, prepare for your departure as you are driven back to your onward destination. As you conclude your journey, you'll carry with you a wealth of unforgettable memories from this trip.
