Full day Spiritual Tour of Delhi

It is one of the biggest mosques of the world and situated in the Middle of Old Delhi, Constructed by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan, Red stone and Marbles are used to build this mosque.  The famous Jama Masjid is covered with intricate carvings and has verses inscribed from the holy Koran. The spacious courtyard of the Jama Masjid is so large that more than 25000  devotees can pray together at one time. The huge hall of the sacred Jama Masjid is constructed  of high cusped arches and marble domes.

Laxmi Narayan Temple is 2nd on your list of places to visit in Delhi, Constructed in 1938 by the renowned Industrialist G.D. Birla, it is one of the important and beautifully built temples in Delhi and is located in Central part of Delhi Connaught Place. This temple has idols of all gods but it is majorly dedicated to Goddess Laxmi and her Husband Narayana. This iconic temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the agreement that people coming from all the castes shall be allowed to enter the temple.

Then visit a Sikh place of worship Known as Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, situated in central Delhi also known as the heart of Delhi. In originality this was the official residence or Bungalow of Mirza Raja Jai Singh, hence the name Bangla Sahib. Its original name was Jaisinghpura Palace. Bangla Sahib is one of the most important holy sites of Sikhism in Delhi.

 Next stop on your tour is Christian house of prayer- the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Central Delhi. It is a Roman Catholic cathedral belonging to the Latin Rite and one of the oldest church buildings in New Delhi, India.

Next stop is the iconic Bahai Temple - the famous Lotus Temple. The temple looks like a lotus flower and is open to people regardless of religions. The place provides an immaculate environment for meditation.  Since 1986 when it was completed the temple has received recognition from all over the world for its splendid architecture and design.

Last but not the least you are going to visit one of the most famous Sites of Hindu “The Akshardham Temple”, it is the place where you can see 10000 years of Indian culture. Akshardham temple is situated on the bank of river Yamuna and famous for its huge temple complex which is one of its kind. The tour will take you to the main temple, Abhishek Mandap, exhibition, gardens and finally end with the water show (depending on time).
