Itinerary
On arrival at Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport Srinagar, meet and greet our friendly representative who will assist you with your transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Drive through Srinagar city, crossing the historic Abdullah Bridge over the Jhelum River, and get your first glimpse of this beautiful valley. After check-in and some rest, head to Dal Lake in the evening for an enchanting Shikara ride. Glide peacefully across the lake, passing floating gardens, lotus plantations, and traditional houseboats while admiring the reflection of the snow-capped Himalayas. This relaxing ride is one of the most iconic experiences of Kashmir. Later, return to the hotel for dinner (at your own expense) and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast and get ready for a full-day Srinagar city sightseeing tour. Begin with Shalimar Bagh Mughal Garden, built by Emperor Jahangir in 1619, known as the “Abode of Love.” Continue to Nishat Bagh (Garden of Joy), a terraced garden offering panoramic views of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Hills. During the tulip season (March–April), a visit to the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, the largest in Asia, adds vibrant colors to your tour.
Later, visit Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill with sweeping views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake. Stroll through Lal Chowk, the bustling market square famous for Kashmiri handicrafts, carpets, and dry fruits. In the evening, you can also witness traditional art demonstrations such as walnut wood carving and papier-mâché crafts. Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to Pahalgam, famously called the "Valley of Shepherds." En route, pass through Pampore, known as the saffron town of Kashmir, and the historic ruins of Avantipura temples. On arrival, enjoy the serene beauty of Pahalgam nestled on the banks of the Lidder River at an altitude of 2,740 meters.
Here, you may opt for pony rides (own expense) to Chandanwari or Aru Valley, offering stunning snow-clad landscapes. Don’t miss Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie “Betaab,” where meadows and streams create postcard-perfect scenery. Adventure lovers can also go for short treks or simply take a bridle walk while soaking in panoramic mountain views. By evening, drive back to Srinagar and stay overnight at your hotel.
