Itinerary

On arrival at Khajuraho Airport or Jhansi Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. From here, drive towards Orchha, a beautiful heritage town founded in the 16th century by the Bundela dynasty. Orchha is known for its royal palaces, murals, and temples that showcase Bundeli architectural brilliance. Visit the Rajmahal, famous for its intricate wall paintings, the Laxmi Narayan Temple, and the Jahangir Mahal, built in honor of Emperor Jahangir’s visit. After sightseeing, continue your journey back to Khajuraho (approx. 172 km). On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast, head out for a guided tour of Khajuraho, home to the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site temples. Built between 950–1050 AD by the Chandela dynasty, only 22 out of the original 85 temples remain today, and they are masterpieces of Hindu and Jain architecture. Explore the Western Group of Temples including the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Parasvanath Temple, and Adinath Temple, renowned for their intricate sculptures and carvings.
In the evening, you can opt for an exciting Panna National Park Jungle Safari (optional, at extra cost), located just 1 hour from Khajuraho. Known for tigers, leopards, deer, and exotic bird species, the safari offers a thrilling experience of Madhya Pradesh’s wilderness. Return to your hotel in Khajuraho for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, check out and drive towards Bandhavgarh National Park, one of India’s most popular tiger reserves and former hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Rewa. On arrival, check into your jungle lodge/resort. After lunch, relax in the serene natural surroundings. Later, enjoy an evening jungle safari (optional) in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Spot diverse wildlife such as tigers, sambar deer, wild boar, leopards, and more than 280 bird species. Return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to Kanha National Park, the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. On arrival, check in at your jungle resort and enjoy a warm lunch. In the evening, set out on an adventurous Kanha safari (optional). The park is famous for its Royal Bengal Tigers, along with sloth bears, barasinghas, leopards, and wild dogs. Don’t miss the sunset view from Bamni Dadar Point, one of Kanha’s most scenic spots. Return to your resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Rise early for a morning jungle safari in Kanha (optional). Morning safaris are magical, with a higher chance of spotting wildlife in their natural habitat.
